We are hiring an accomplished Technical Team Lead, iOS Engineer to join our team in supporting various iOS applications for both internal and external users. You will have a direct impact on highly visible CoStar mobile applications that touch thousands of users. You will continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply these learnings to improve our mobile products.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities

• You will develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users

• You will continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices

• Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services

• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable

• Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas

• Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from and accredited, not for profit university or college.

• 7+ years’ experience in developing iOS applications

• 1+ year of experience mentoring and leading a team

• Expert knowledge in everything iOS – Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch Framework, XCode and are always interested in learning more and sharing your skills

• Experience with all the common Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection and more.

• A track record of commitment to prior employers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL databases and full stack development

• Passion for and commitment to building mobile applications

• Ability to turn ideas and code into the perfect customer experience
